Anthony David Gonzalez played American football for 17 seasons as an offensive tight end in the National Football League. As one of football's greatest tight ends, Anthony David Gonzalez is also the NFL leading receiver of yards for tight ends, and third overall in receptions.
The former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as an FOX Sports studio analyst. Gonzalez, who has been with FOX NFL KICKOFF since the last year, hosts host of the program. The show airs on Sunday, at 11:00 AM ET before FOX NFL SUNDAY.
Gonzalez was signed to a contract to The Falcons to run for two seasons and $11 million on the 15th of March 2013. This was despite being aware that Gonzalez previously stated that he was planning to retire after the football season of 2013. With the retirement of Randy Moss, 37-year-old Gonzalez had his final season as the leader of the NFL's active players in receiving yards.
